Independent Carriers - Enhanced Service
Service Description
Independent carriers provide telephone service to remote state locations not on the State’s Enterprise Voice System (EVS) to obtain telecommunication services. Independent Carriers also provides network connections to remote State offices.

Customer Benefits
Customer will be able to make telephone calls and connect to remote applications.

Customer Responsibilities

To request this service, please submit a Telecommunications Service Request via a Telesoft Work Order.

They will need to provide the location where the phone will be located and a staff member available for service set-up. The customer will also need to provide the billing account information.

ETS Responsibilities
ETS will manage incident response and resolution services via the Technology Support Center. Staff will coordinate with carrier to establish or resolve issues for the service on behalf of the customer.

Service Level Objectives
The following criteria are the quality of service benchmarks established as the expected performance goals of this service.

 Processing New service requests will be completed within 15 business days from the time the request is received and transmitted to and from the independent carrier. Depending on the location of the new service this may take longer for install if telecom construction is required.  15 business days
